First, my helpful hint of the day.
In class we are being taught that in order to save an image we should hit the print screen button and open the image in paint. The problem I have found with this is that the image after editing is saved with white space often because it doesn't fit the paint settings entirely and it is sometimes very blurry. Another way to do this is through the Microsoft OneNote program. If it is a start up program all that you need to do is hold the windows key and the S button*. The screen will go opaque and your curser will turn into a cross- by clicking and dragging over the are you want to copy you can import whatever you are doing into OneNote. From there it is very easy to save your image. OneNote is also very useful because under what is called a Screen Shot is the date it was taken and if it's from a web site the site's domain will be pasted directly underneath. The program is fully interactive and very useful when doing on line research and keeping sources straight.
*If OneNote is not a start up program you need to open it up and when you are ready to take your screen shot go to the tools tab and click on Insert Screen Shot- the window that is open behind OneNote will pop up and a screen shot can then be taken as normal.

Secondly, just as an explanation why my widgets are gone. My father was trying to access my blog over break and realized that one of the widgets had a virus attached that was hijacking the blog. I had to get his help to edit in the HTML settings because the program kept blocking my attempts is the standard view setting. Here is a web site that explains about the problem:

So hopefully I will find something that is more reliable but I'm not sure how to go about finding how reliable those programs are yet.
